WANG Yang, Member of the Standing Committee of Political Bureau, Chairman of CPPCC National Committee visited the Mekong River Bridge of Boten-Vientiane Railway constructed by CREC during his official visit to Laos from Nov. 16th to 19th, 2019.

The 1459-mtere-long Mekong River Bridge is one of the dominant parts of the whole railway project, which is constructed by China Railway No.8 Group, a subsidiary of CREC. Wang listened to the report on the construction process, and showed his appreciation for the previous work and the endeavor made by the employees of CREC.

Boten-Vientiane Railway is 441 km in length, which is regarded as the backbone project for the China-Laos Economic Corridor, and a platform of forging the community with shared future for China and Laos. The project will better the infrastructure of Laos, and boost its economic development.
