CREC, in consortium with IWH, signed an agreement with Malaysian government on Bandar Malaysia, a major land development project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Dec. 17th, 2019. Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Bai Tian, CREC President Chen Yun and other guests attended the signing ceremony. 

PM Mahathir Mohamad said, Malaysia and China enjoys long term sustainable relations of win-win cooperation, and China has become the biggest trading partner of Malaysia during the past decade. He appreciates the involvement and investment of CREC in Malaysia, and hopes the Project to boost the practical cooperation of the two countries under the “Belt and Road Initiative”, adding substantial value to the economy of Malaysia.

Bandar Malaysia is the largest piece of land for development at the heart of Kuala Lumpur, taking an area of about 2 million square meters. Bandar Malaysia will be an integrated complex for future financial center, high-tech industrial park, business district, cultural exchange center and major transport hub of Kuala Lumpur.
