On September 12, the Serbia project department of China Railway No.9 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CREC-9) was awarded the “September Prize,” the highest honor given by the Majdanpek municipal government.

Majdanpek celebrates its Liberation Day on September 12 every year. That day, the municipal government will confer the award on organizations or individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the city in the past year.

During the COVID-19 epidemic, the project department donated 10 tons of living materials to poverty-stricken households in Majdanpek.

After the outbreak of COVID-19 in the city, the project department took immediate action to help the local government fight the epidemic. On April 29, it donated more than 10 tons of living materials, including direly needed wheat flour, edible oil and canned food, to over 250 local poor households, most of which are single-parent families, to help them survive the disaster.
