More Than Half of the Tracks for Yuxi-Mohan Section of China-Laos Railway Laid

Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”

Along the Yuxi-Mohan section of the China-Laos railway, tracks were laid to Ning’er Station in Pu’er City of southwest China’s Yunnan Province on April 1, ending the region’s history of being inaccessible by railway. It also marked that half of the tracks for the section had been finished and the erection of T-shape beams began for the section from Yuxi to the entrance of Dajinshan Tunnel. The construction and erection work has been carrying out by Xinyun Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Railway First Group Co., Ltd.

More Than Half of the Tracks for Yuxi-Mohan Section of China-Laos Railway Laid

Construction work for the Yuxi-Mohan section mainly includes erecting 412-hole T-shaped beams, laying tracks for both the railway line and stations with the lengths reaching 863.04 kilometers and 129.7 kilometers, respectively, and placing 436 sets of track switches and 1.5 million cubic meters of railway ballasts.
