CREC President ZHANG Zongyan met with Pakistani Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and had an in-depth communication on ML1 Railway Project on November 5^th.

During the talks, President ZHANG briefly introduced the Company and its overseas business. He said that Pakistan, as the all-weather strategic partner of China, is the most important market for CREC, and ML1 Railway Project, as the pillar of Pakistani railway transportation, has attracted attention from both countries. As the leading party, CREC is committed to fulfill its responsibilities and push forward the Project. President ZHANG also expressed the Company's willingness to take long term root in Pakistan and contribute to the construction and development of Pakistan.

Minister Ahmed reiterated the importance of ML1 Railway Project and solid Sino-Pakistan relations, expected the technical backup for ML1 be finalized soon through closer collaboration. He said large enterprises like CREC are welcomed to participate in the existing and future Pakistani infrastructure projects such as ML1 and the subsequent ML2 & ML3 railway projects. He is looking forward to a win-win cooperation between China and Pakistan.
