On November 2^nd, President ZHANG Zongyan and Vice President REN Hongpeng met with Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenkovic, in Beijing. They had an in-depth discussion and made consensuses on further cooperation of infrastructure construction.

CREC Delegation Meeting with Croatian Government Delegation

Mr. ZHANG introduced CREC and its international businesses, especially CREC’s involvement in the Belt and Road Initiative. He said that CREC is ready to take part in Croatia’s infrastructure construction. ZHANG recalled his impressive business visit to Croatia this July, when he met with President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and talked to Croatian enterprises, which gave him more confidence in working with Croatian partners. He said CREC will make use of its professional expertise in infrastructure construction and work closely with Croatian partners.

Mr. Plenkovic expressed his hope of Chinese enterprises to participate in Croatia’s infrastructure construction through various ways. He noted that “16+1” summit will be held in Croatia next year, he hopes CREC and the local companies will deepen cooperation by that chance.
