October 8 — The inaugural Italian Drilling and Foundation Awards (IDFA 2026) ceremony was grandly held at the Collegio Alberoni in Piacenza, Italy. CREG Italy Branch was presented with the Excellent Supplier Award at IDFA 2026 in recognition of its outstanding performance in the local underground engineering equipment sector and its notable contributions to localized services.
Founded in 2023, CREG Italy Branch is a key overseas branch of CREG in the European market, primarily responsible for Italian market development, project execution coordination, and equipment after-sales service. In recent years, CREG Italy Branch has continuously deepened localized operations and actively participated in major local infrastructure projects, providing advanced tunneling equipment, technical solutions and on-site service support for several key tunnel engineering projects.
IDFA 2026 is hosted by Mediapoint & Exhibitions of Italy, with the support of industry organizations including the Association of Italian Foundation Engineering Companies (AIF) and the National Association of Geological Survey Companies (ANISIG). The awards aim to recognize enterprises that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in technological innovation, equipment application, safety management, digitalization and sustainability across Italy's drilling, special foundation and underground engineering sectors.
