Nanjing Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge

The bridge is located 20 kilometers upstream of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and 1.55 kilometers from the downstream Nanjing Third Yangtze River Bridge. It is the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway and the Shanghai-Hanrong railway crossing channel. It represents the highest level of bridge construction in China and is known as the world's first six-line railway bridge. The continuous two arch is the largest span of the same-class high-speed railway bridge in the world. It is also the world's largest design load of high-speed railway bridges. The bridge is in the world leading level in high-speed railway bridge with the design speed of 300 km/h.

In 2012, IBC’s George S. Richardson Medal, USA was awarded.


In 2015, It won the IABSE’s Outstanding Structural Engineering Award, which is known as the Nobel Prize in the bridge industry.
