Namibia Industrial Zone Link Road Project Passes Final Acceptance
Source: Date:2024年04月16日

With the completion of sporadic ancillary works and a one-year trial operation, the Namibia Industrial Zone Link Road Project, contracted by China Railway Seventh Group, recently passed the final acceptance of all parties involved in the construction and received the performance certificate on March 26.

The Industrial Zone Road Project starts from Auas Overpass and ends at the Industrial Zone, with a total length of 620 meters, a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour, and two lanes in both directions. The project passed the initial acceptance and was put into use on March 13, 2023, and has now become the traffic artery of the industrial area, Auas flyover, and Grove Mall, a prominent business district in Windhoek. Industrial Zone Road has withstood the rigorous test of high-intensity transportation since its opening. Vehicles can still pass and shuttle normally, even in the rainy season with abundant precipitation. The owners and local people have praised the quality of the project many times.
