Jingyuan Jintan Yellow River Bridge, the Widest Bridge in Gansu Province was Officially Opened to Traffic

On October 17, the Jingyuan Jintan Yellow River Bridge in Baiyin, Gansu Province, constructed by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group, was officially opened to traffic, adding another "link" connecting the north and south sides of Jingyuan County.

Jintan Yellow River Bridge is located in the east of Jingyuan County, with a total length of 1.089 kilometers. It is a double-tower three-span cable-stayed structure. The main bridge is a low-pylon cable-stayed concrete cast-in-situ continuous beam with a width of 36.5 m, which is the widest bridge built in Gansu Province.

Jintan Yellow River Bridge connects the county"s densely populated areas, resource-rich areas, industrial concentration areas, economically active areas, and important tourist areas, and undertakes the important functions of smoothing the north and south, radiating the east and west, and integrating urban and rural areas. The completion and opening of the bridge will further accelerate the pace of new urbanization, Rural Revitalization, and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin in Jingyuan County, and play an important role in promoting the construction and economic development of the economic belt along the Yellow River.
