The track laying work for Phonethong super major bridge, the longest bridge along the China-Laos railway, was completed on August 11. So far, only 2.3 kilometers of track-laying is left for the 422.4-kilometer main line of Boten-Vientiane section of the China-Laos railway, just one step away from opening of the whole line.
Phonethong super major bridge is located in Vientiane, Laos, with a length of 7528.56 meters. China Railway No.2 Engineering Group undertakes track laying.
