To celebrate the most important festival to the Chinese people, a couple of days before the Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival, the Hungarian branch of CREC already began decorating its office in Budapest, capital of Hungary, with traditional lanterns and Spring Festival couplets to create a strong festive atmosphere. The company also distributed New Year greeting cards, Chinese specialty food, anti-epidemic supplies, and other gifts to its employees.
On the night of New Year’s Eve, a short video of Hungarian food produced by the company’s local employees was screened, while Chinese staffers shared views with their Hungarian colleagues on traditional festival cultures of the two countries. The employees also enjoyed a virtual “New Year’s Eve Dinner” and attended an online party to celebrate the festival. (Source: CREC International Business Division)
