Chairman LI Changjin met with Palkovics László, Hungarian Minister of Innovation and Technology on April 27th, 2019. They had an in-depth communication and reached broad consensus on the Budapest-Belgrade Railway and other related projects.

After an overall presentation of CREC, Chairman LI said, “Hungary is China’s close partner in Europe and a very important market to CREC. The Company will take the Budapest-Belgrade Railway as an opportunity, mobilize the internal resources and collaborate with qualified Hungarian partners to undertake this Railway project with good quality and high efficiency.

Palkovics said, the Hungarian government attaches great importance to the cooperation with Chinese enterprises in railway construction. The participating companies from both countries need to overcome differences in cultural and legal conventions, as well as technical standards. He hopes the two sides carry out close cooperation to ensure a successful implementation of the Project. The Hungarian government will support the participating companies to further explore business opportunities in Hungary and its neighboring countries.
