Ghanaian President Inspects Seaside Avenue Project
Source: Date:2020年11月06日

Ghanaian President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Ghanaian Minister of Roads and Highways Kwasi Amoako-Atta and other political leaders inspected the rehabilitation project of the Seaside Avenue undertaken by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group Co., Ltd. in Ghana on October 26.

The project under the Accra smart traffic program is a major component of the international seaside passage of western Africa. It is identified by Ghana’s Urban Highway Authority as a Class-M3 road. When completed, it will directly benefit more than 4 million residents in the region. The rehabilitation project mainly includes a 10.6-kilometer two-way, four-lane urban highway, two bridges over railways, an overpass and supplementary facilities, with a planned construction period of two years. Located in the populous urban area with complicated traffic conditions, it is crucial to relieve local traffic pressure, strengthen intercity connections, and achieve regional economic integration.
