Recently, with the precise hoisting of the closure section of the double-tower cable-stayed bridge across Gaoxin Avenue in Wuhan Optical Valley, the bridge of Wuhan Optical Valley Air Rail Tourist Line, the first domestic air rail operation line built by China Railway Hi-Tech Industry, has been completed.
The function of the Guanggu Air Rail Tourist Line Project is positioned as a tourist leisure line in the ecological corridor, considering the traffic function. The total length of the project's first phase is about 10.5 kilometers, with a total of 6 stations.
China Railway Hi-Tech Industry undertakes the manufacturing, installation, erection and commissioning of facilities such as track beams, steel columns, movable core turnouts, large-span bridges and beam-column connection devices.
The suspended movable core switch turnout independently developed by China Railway Baoji Bridge Group has the characteristics of high reliability, strong adaptability, smooth switch, energy saving and environmental protection, which realizes the stable and reliable line of suspended track line and fills the gap in this field at home and abroad.
Guanggu Air Rail Tourist Line is one of the supporting infrastructures of Guanggu Ecological Corridor and International Eco-cultural Tourism Demonstration Zone. It connects the characteristic areas such as mountains, waters, forests, fields and lakes in the corridor. After opening, it will become a mobile "air viewing platform" and add a new business card to Guanggu.
