On February 3, the "CREC 1108" large-diameter slurry balance shield machine manufactured by China Railway Engineering Equipment Group, a subsidiary of China Railway Hi-Tech Industry, passed the acceptance of Singapore customers at Pinghu Production Base in Jiaxing and was successfully offline.
"CREC 1108" large diameter slurry shield machine excavation diameter of 12.66 meters will be applied to Singapore CR105 project-Aviation Park Station and Loyang Station project interval. The total length of the tunnel is 3157 meters. The main geology is accompanied by marine clay, mixed granite, and an old impact sand layer. Under the runway of Changi Airport, a large international hub airport in Singapore, the complex geological conditions and ground buildings put forward strict requirements for equipment performance and settlement control.
The technical team of China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Project combines the technical difficulties of the project and the individual needs of customers, upholds the concept of "design + manufacture" efficient collaborative linkage, carefully customizes the design scheme, and carries a number of innovative technologies, such as atmospheric pressure tool change system, slurry collection system and advanced geological prediction system, to ensure that the equipment can be better equipped. And the rapid tunneling in the composite stratum is realized.
It is reported that up to now, China Railway Engineering Equipment Group has signed nearly 30 shield/TBM orders in Singapore.
