On February 20, the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-speed Railway Wuyi Section 7 Bid Songjiazui No.1 Tunnel was constructed by Wuhan Company of China Railway Seventh Group and was completed after 267 days of construction. The first tunnel that completed in the Wuyi Section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-speed Railway this year.
Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-speed Railway with a total length of about 2100 km and a design speed of 350 km per hour. The Wuhan-Yichang section is located in Hubei Province, starting from Wuhan City, passing through Tianmen City and Jingmen City, and ending at Yichang City, with a total length of 313 kilometers.
Songjiazui No.1 Tunnel is located in Yiling District, Yichang City, Hubei Province. The total length of the tunnel is 420.76 meters. It is mainly composed of Grade IV and Grade V surrounding rocks. The geology of the tunnel is mudstone interlayer in sandstone, which is easy to soften and disintegrate in water, and is prone to collapse, falling blocks, arch deformation and other potential safety hazards. The tunnel construction is close to the village, so the blasting safety risk is high and the construction coordination is complex.
It is reported that after the completion of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu high-speed railway, the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, the middle reaches of the Yangtze River urban agglomeration and the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle will be connected in series, which is of great significance for the construction of the comprehensive transportation system of the Yangtze River and the promotion of the development of the economic belt of the Yangtze river.
