On October 19, 2022, at Dekarur Station, Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway, Indonesia, a rail car with a different appearance from an ordinary train was working intensively on the track, and a yellow metal conductor was accurately suspended over the railway. Now the first catenary conductor of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway is being erected, marking that Indonesia"s first high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour has entered the construction stage of the core technology of electrification, built by China Railway Electrification Engineering Group.
The special rail car busy on the line is from China, called the "constant tension pay-off car", which is used to erect an electrified catenary for the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway to ensure that the high-speed trains can continuously and safely obtain electricity. The constant tension pay-off vehicle made in China has high tension control accuracy and sensitivity, and the straightness accuracy of the overhead contact line wire per meter is controlled within 0.05 mm as a whole, up to 0.02 mm, which is much better than the currently accepted standard of 0.1 mm for the straightness of the overhead contact line of 350 km/H high-speed railway. It can ensure that the construction quality of the catenary meets the high-speed operation of the train. At the same time, the catenary system directly supplying power to high-speed trains in Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway also adopts the "simplified" catenary equipment independently produced by China Railway Electrification Engineering Group.
Compared with the traditional catenary device, the number of cantilever parts of "simplified" catenary equipment has been reduced by 39%, the construction and installation time has been reduced by 1/3, and the stability of product manufacturing and the integration of parts has been improved in an all-round way, which greatly improves the efficiency of construction, operation and maintenance, and provides a basis for unified standard equipment and intelligent identification of parts faults.
373.11 kilometers of catenary conductors will be erected along the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway. All communication, signal, power and traction power supply system equipment are manufactured by Chinese enterprises, which is the first application of Chinese standard equipment in overseas high-speed railway projects, and is of great significance to promoting China"s high-speed railway equipment to go global.
