Recently, the first shield tunnel of the Tel Aviv Green Line Project, designed by the China Railway Liuyuan Group Co,.Ltd., was opened ahead of schedule, marking that the construction of the Green Line has entered the fast lane.
The Green Line Light Rail Project is one of the important livelihood projects in the urban transport planning of the Israeli government. The through tunnel is located in the section from Tel Aviv Levins Station to Karibach Station, with a total length of about 720 meters, a shield excavation diameter of 7.56 meters, and a minimum curve radius of 189 meters.
The project is challenging to survey and design, and the owner has put forward strict requirements for the construction period. To ensure the project's smooth performance, the department determined the key objectives and refined and adjusted the weekly plan to the daily program. After 22 months of hard work, it not only completed the design task but also cooperated with the construction to achieve the highest daily excavation record of 17 rings and realized the opening of the first shield tunnel of the Green Line ahead of schedule.
