On January 4, 600 kilometers per hour high-speed maglev test platform in China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group, a subsidiary of China Railway Hi-Tech Industry, was manufacturing success, to achieve another major innovation in the field of new rail transit.
The high-speed maglev test platform with a speed of 600 kilometers per hour will be used for the extension project of the 600 kilometers high-speed maglev test line developed by CRRC, consisting of five steel structural beams. The high-speed maglev transportation system with a speed of 600 kilometers per hour adopts normal conducting technology. It uses electromagnetic attraction to suspend the train on the track to realize non-contact operation. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, safety and reliability, strong transport capacity, flexible marshaling, punctual comfort, convenient maintenance, and green environmental protection.
Faced with many challenges, such as many types of welding joints, heavy welding workload, high requirements for welding quality, the machining accuracy of rods, assembly accuracy, large welding deformation, complex process flow, and tight construction period, China Railway Hi-Tech Industry has launched an all-out attack on the production of 600 km high-speed magnetic levitation test platform by adopting innovative welding technology. A series of "breakthrough" measures, such as proper groove angle and reasonable control of current and voltage, have completed the manufacturing task of a high-speed maglev test platform with a speed of 600 kilometers per hour.
