Source: Date:2023年10月11日

On the morning of September 13, local time, Indonesian President Joko Widodo set out from Halim Station in Jakarta, the capital, to experience the high-speed EMU train of the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway, and visited Padalalang Station supported by CREC.

President Joko Widodo said that with the joint efforts of all parties involved in the construction, the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway will be officially put into commercial operation in early October. It was his first time on the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway, and he felt smooth and comfortable when the train ran 350 kilometers per hour. He hoped that the Indonesian people would use public transport more and take the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway to ease the traffic pressure between Jakarta and Bandung.

Padalalang Station, supported by CREC, is located in Padalalang District, Bandung City, West Java Province, Indonesia, with a building area of 9833 square meters, two sets and four lines, which can accommodate 1000 people waiting at the same time, and 2300 people per hour during peak period. It is the only station on the whole line of the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway that transfers with the existing ordinary-speed railway. The station building adopts a streamlined design; the facade uses a glass door opening design. It adopts a curved aluminum lattice texture, reflecting the sense of speed and technology. It creates a conversation between the old and the new, the past and the future with the existing station, symbolizing the starting point of urban renewal and implying the rebirth of Padalalang technology.
