Bahaji Stadium, located in the suburbs of Algiers, the capital of Algeria, is the first national stadium in Algeria to meet all FIFA standards, including the World Cup. It covers an area of about 410,000 square meters and has a total floor area of approximately 136,000 square meters. It can accommodate up to 40784 spectators. It has a main stadium, warm-up training ground, players' lounge, central high platform, parking lot, helipad, energy station, and Green Park outside. In 2023, the African National Football Championship will be held here. After the competition, Bahaji Stadium will be open to the public and will undertake various events and performances.

The whole roof of Bahaji Stadium is oval, and the planned steel consumption is more than 8000 tons. The project team jointly conducted the wind tunnel test of the stadium roof system with the relevant French institutions. According to the test and analysis results, the planned steel consumption was optimized to 6685 tons while reducing the safety risk of the steel roof system. In hoisting the steel structure canopy, the project team, on the premise of effectively controlling the accuracy of the steel components, adopted the hoisting method of "single platform crane, sectional lifting". First, the single component was lifted to the assembly jig frame by the truck crane for welding. Then it was raised to the support frame by a crawler crane, which thoroughly ensured that the steel structure construction of Bahaji Stadium reached the highest international standard EXC4.
