CREC Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway No.4 Beam Yard continuously explores the mode of localized management, creates employment opportunities for the local people, meets the concerns and expectations of the local society, and promotes the common prosperity of the local people with the concept of "integration into the local area and common development".
Before the yard came in, local villagers lived by selling their fruits or working in small local workshops, and their incomes were very low. The establishment of the beam yard provides many direct or indirect jobs for the local people, such as safety officers, car drivers, steel workers, kitchen helpers, etc. Under the requirements of Indonesian laws and regulations, Beam Yard signed labor contracts with Indonesian employees, purchased medical and accident insurance for them, actively integrated into local culture, fully considered the customs and habits of Indonesian employees, and set up dormitories, Muslim prayer rooms, and Muslim restaurants for Indonesian employees. All kinds of signs in the beam yard are written in both Chinese and Indonesian languages, fully respecting Indonesian culture. Since the start of construction, Beam Yard has provided more than 2000 employment opportunities for Indonesia, and regularly organized Indonesian employees to carry out technical training to teach them the experience of China"s infrastructure construction.
