On December 17, the Tuifo Praso Bridge (TB Bridge) in Ghana, which was constructed by China Railway No.5 Engineering Group, was successfully closed, laying a solid foundation for the completion and opening of the project on schedule.
Tuifupraso near Cape Coast in the central province of Ghana is the main road leading to the western province. The Pula River from north to south divides the two places into two parts. The TB Bridge constructed by China Railway No.5 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. is an important link between the two places. The total length of the bridge is 1814.4 meters, of which the main project is a prestressed reinforced concrete continuous box girder bridge with roadbed leads at both ends of the bridge.
TB Bridge Project is a control project invested in and constructed by the Ghana Highway Authority, which is expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of March 2023. The opening of TB Bridge will significantly improve the travel conditions of residents, shorten the travel time and promote economic development on both sides of the Pula River.
