On July 25, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the "Ambassador Entering CREC" event was held in Beijing. More than 100 people from 70 embassies in China and seven representative offices of international organizations in China attended the event, including 12 ambassadors to China, 12 Chargé d'Affaires ad Interim and one representative of international organizations in China.

Hong Lei, Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Foreign Ministry, presided over the event, and Bureau of International Cooperation of SASAC representatives attended the event. Chen Yun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CREC, delivered a welcome speech, and Chen Wenjian, the President of CREC, introduced the overall development of CREC.

On behalf of CREC, Chen Yun extended a warm welcome to all ambassadors and representatives of international organizations in China and thanked all parties for their long-term support and assistance to CREC. He said that as one of the largest construction contractors in the world, CREC has given full play to the advantages of the whole industrial chain of infrastructure construction, relying on rich management experience, professional technical level, and deep talent reserve, deepened win-win cooperation with governments and enterprises around the world, made every effort to open up the international market and built a large number of projects with global influence. Promote high-quality co-construction of "The Belt and Road Initiative" and let the concept of "co-construction and sharing" blossom.

During the question-and-answer session, ambassadors to China and representatives of international organizations in China exchanged views on the development prospects of CREC's international business and the contribution of high-speed rail construction to social and economic development. After the discussion and exchange, the ambassadors in China visited the "Trailbreaker" Cultural Exhibition Hall of CREC and the special exhibition "The Belt and Road Initiative-Ten Years of Cultivation of CREC" to gain an in-depth understanding of the century-old origin of CREC, its achievements in engineering construction, scientific and technological innovation and green development, and its adherence to the "Trailbreaker" cultural concept. Through the implementation of quality projects to bring well-being to the people of the countries along the line, the positive contribution made to the construction of a community of human destiny is highly appreciated.
