Source: Date:2022年12月09日

Natural disasters are frequent in Indonesia, and CREC has always carried forward the spirit of internationalism, racing against time in the face of disasters, regardless of gains and losses, to open the way for life. When strong earthquakes, hurricanes and floods occurred, the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway Project Department of CREC quickly rescued and post-disaster reconstruction work, and donated money and materials to the affected Indonesian people.

On September 29, 2018, a 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck Sulawesi Island, Indonesia, and triggered a tsunami, killing more than 300 people and causing heavy losses. CREC Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway Project Department is concerned about the disaster area and organizes donations to the disaster area for the first time to send the condolences and love of Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway participants to the people in Sulawesi disaster area.

At the beginning of 2020, floods continued in West Java Province, and many villages along the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway were seriously flooded. The Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway Project Department of CREC started a contingency plan and organized dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and other machinery to rush to the site overnight to clear silt and discharge flood. When the flood receded, the project department joined hands with the staff of the West Bandung County Government and more than 400 villagers to carry out post-disaster recovery and reconstruction, carry out river dredging, canal slope protection, and reinforcement, and eliminate potential safety hazards. At the scene of flood relief, the head of West Wanlong County personally opened the outlet of CREC Concrete Tanker, filmed related videos, and uploaded them to personal social media, with tens of thousands of likes. Many media in West Java Province interviewed and reported the selfless assistance of the Jakarta-Bandung High-speed Railway Project Department in flood relief, and expressed their gratitude. Relevant reports were broadcast and reprinted dozens of times in Indonesia, creating a warm and emotional image of a large multinational enterprise.
