Source: Date:2023年03月16日

On February 17, the first pile of auxiliary pier No.67 of the North Main Tower of Xiangshan Port Sea-Crossing Bridge of Ningxiang Regional (Suburban) Railway was completed, which opened up the subsequent trestle platform erection and bored pile construction, marking that the bridge has entered the stage of comprehensive construction.

After the completion of the Xiangshan Port Sea-Crossing Bridge, designed by China Railway Major Bridge Reconnaissance & Design Institute and constructed by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group, it will set many records, such as "the first urban (suburban) railway sea-crossing bridge in China", "the largest span bridge on existing parallel lines in China", "the largest span combined steel box girder railway cable-stayed bridge in China".

The Xiangshan Port Sea-Crossing Bridge is the control project of the Ningxiang Regional (Suburban) Railway. It undertakes medium and long-distance travel from the main urban area of Ningbo to Xiangshan and internal commuting travel between the central metropolitan area of Ningbo and Xiangshan Town. At the same time, it considers the distribution function of the comprehensive transportation hub in the west of Ningbo.
