On July 26, with the first train leaving Meishan Square Station, the first phase of Shaoxing Rail Transit Line 2, which was built by The First Engineering Bureau of CREC, China TIESIJU Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd, China Railway Guangzhou Engineering Group Co,.Ltd. and Wuhan Railway Electrification Bureau Group Co,.Ltd., was put into operation, which is the first fully automatic driverless metro line in Shaoxing City and the second in Zhejiang Province.
Located in Yuecheng District, Shaoxing City, the project is laid in the form of an underground line, with a total length of 10.8 kilometers and a designed maximum running speed of 100 kilometers per hour. It has nine underground stations and eight sections and can transfer with Shaoxing Rail Transit Line 1 at Meishan Square Station. CREC undertook the construction tasks of the project's civil engineering, track, electromechanical, and power supply.
The subway is constructed according to the highest level of automatic operation standard of GoA4 (automatic operation of unattended trains). The construction team adopted the precise measurement technology of the CPIII track control network on the whole line, improved the construction technology standard system of unique return rail, controlled the construction accuracy at the millimeter level, and ensured the completion of the project with high quality.
