Recently, President Irfan Ali of Guyana and officials from the local government and the Central Housing and Planning Authority visited the construction site of the Guiana EGD Highway Bid 9 Project of The First Engineering Bureau of CREC, and the mainstream media in Guyana broadcast the whole process live.
During the inspection, President Ali communicated with the government staff, owners and field engineers along the project, and made a detailed understanding of the construction progress, quality, environmental protection, safety, localized employment and personnel training of the project, and gave full affirmation.
President Ali expressed his cordial greetings and festival wishes to the construction workers on the spot. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the EGD Highway Project to the economic development of Guyana, highly praised the achievements made by The First Engineering Bureau of CREC in the construction of the project, and encouraged the staff of The First Engineering Bureau of CREC to make persistent efforts to participate in more infrastructure projects in Guyana for the benefit of the people of Guyana.
