Recently, the "CREC 1141" single shield hard rock roadheader was launched in the cable tunnel project of Longren Semiconductor Industrial Park in Korea, which is the first time that the single shield hard rock roadheader developed by China Railway Engineering Equipment Group under China Railway Hi-Tech Industry has been applied in Korea.
The cable tunnel project of Longren Semiconductor Industrial Park is 5183 meters long and is divided into three sections, all of which use the tunnel boring machine developed by China Railway Engineering Equipment Group. Among them, the excavation diameter of the "CREC 1141" road header is 4.38 meters, which is applied to the second tunnel section. The total length of this section is 2,119 meters, the maximum buried depth is 175 meters, the geology is mainly gneiss, the maximum rock strength is 208.9 MPa, and the abrasiveness is strong, crossing the fracture zone and rivers, which puts forward higher requirements for the stability of the equipment.
The R & D team innovatively adopted the waterproof design of a single shield TBM host on "CREC 1141" according to the complex geological characteristics such as large buried depth, high water pressure, and hard rock. It carried the STS system with the company's independent intellectual property rights, which can provide real-time tunneling information for customers.
