On January 12, local time, China Overseas Engineering Group West Africa Company received the notice of provisional award for the road renovation project of Bamako-Kuluba-Kati 2X2 lane, G point connecting line, 7 km of Kati urban area and Betro-Bama-Same-Kati roundabout.
The project is located in Bamako, the capital of Mali, with a total length of 29.83 kilometers, and its planned main line is the road between the presidential palace and the presidential residence of Mali. The national finance of Mali funds the project; the owner is the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Mali, and the owner's representative is the National Road Authority of Mali. Given the unique nature of the project, based on multi-comparison and careful consideration, the owner invited China Overseas Engineering Groups West Africa Company as the only invited unit to participate in the project bid negotiation at the beginning of 2022 and was entirely responsible for the design and implementation of the project.
The project has received the care and guidance of the President of the National Transitional Government of Mali, Asimi Goita, who has personally inquired about the project's progress on many occasions. The owner said that China Overseas West Africa Company has been a loyal partner of the Malian government for a long time, is safe and reliable, has high credibility and economic strength, and is confident that the company will complete the project with high quality.
