On January 19, at the project site of Shasan Station, Phase II of Shenzhen Metro Line 12, the super-large cross-section combined rectangular shield pipe jacking machine "CREC Dayu Tunneling" jointly developed by China Railway Engineering Equipment Group and other units successfully completed the double-track tunneling task, creating the world's first successful use of super-large cross-section mechanical tunneling metro station construction.
Shasan Station is an underground two-story island platform station with a total length of 208 meters. The single line of the jacking section is 70 meters long and is divided into left and right lines. The selection of the forming station is 22.6 meters wide and 13.5 meters high, with a section area of about two-thirds of the standard basketball court. The project is covered with shallow soil, the surrounding groundwater is abundant, and there is a new culvert under the station site; the cost of relocation is high, the traffic relief is rugged, and the construction conditions are complex.
Given the complex construction environment of the project, the R & D team of China Railway Engineering Equipment Group has tailored the super-large cross-section rectangular shield pipe jacking machine "Dayu Tunneling" with a width of 11.29 meters and a height of 13.55 meters. The pipe jacking machine is composed of two sets of equipment, which are arranged with multiple cutter heads and controlled by various screw machines. Micro-step excavation, attitude measurement, and control technology effectively guarantee safe, high-quality, and efficient construction.
