Recently, the main span of the Huai River Bridge, a critical project of the Hefei-Xinyi High-Speed Railway, constructed by China Railway No.3 Engineering Group Co., Ltd, was successfully closed. This marks the completion of the entire 13.4-kilometer-long Huai River Bridge.

The Hefei-Xinyi High-Speed Railway starts in Hefei, Anhui Province. It reaches Xinyi, Jiangsu Province, with a total length of approximately 324 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The Huai River Bridge is a key control project for the entire line, featuring a main span with a concrete rigid-frame low-tower cable-stayed structure of 112 meters + 228 meters + 112 meters. The bridge crosses the main channel of the Huai River, with the two main towers rising 45.5 meters above the bridge deck. The main beam was constructed using the cantilever method, with the longest cantilever reaching 113 meters.
