Recently, Papua New Guinea’s Prime Minister James Marape inspected the University of Goroka Administration Building Project, which is being constructed by China Railway Construction Engineering Group .
Prime Minister Marape was briefed on the project’s progress and praised China Railway Construction Engineering Group’s project management team for their ability to deliver international-standard engineering and high-quality construction. He noted that the project, as a key component in the modernization of higher education in Papua New Guinea, has maintained high standards since its inception. It fully demonstrates the professionalism and sense of responsibility of Chinese enterprises. He encouraged the project team to continue applying lean construction principles, strictly control construction safety, quality, and timelines, and ensure that the building is delivered on schedule. The facility should comprehensively meet the needs of teaching, research, and administration, providing faculty and students with a modern and user-friendly campus environment.
The University of Goroka Administration Building Project has a total construction area of 7,546 square meters and comprises six floors. The construction mainly includes the main administrative building and a student forum plaza.
