Nairobi, Kenya — On June 19 (local time), the Nakuru site of the Kenya Ministry of Defence Housing Project (Phase I), constructed by the Africa Branch of China Railway No.10 Engineering Group, successfully passed the owner’s acceptance inspection.
With a total gross floor area of 115,600 square meters, the Kenya Ministry of Defence Housing Project (Phase I) comprises 3,069 housing units being constructed simultaneously across five sites. The project is a key livelihood initiative of the Kenyan government and an important measure to improve living conditions for defence personnel and enhance the quality of life for military families. Upon completion, it will substantially improve local housing conditions by providing defence personnel with safer, more comfortable and modern residential facilities, while making a positive contribution to social stability and public welfare.
