Dakar, Senegal — On August 13 local time, the Senegal Saint-Louis Sanakh Water Tower Project, undertaken by the overseas company of China Railway Seventh Group, successfully passed final acceptance and was officially handed over.
The Senegal Saint-Louis Sanakh Water Tower Project includes 11.8 kilometers of pipelines and a water tower with a storage capacity of 3,200 cubic meters. The water tower is one of the largest water towers in Senegal in terms of storage capacity and is also a landmark structure in the city of Saint-Louis.
The final acceptance inspection was jointly conducted by SNOES, Senegal’s national water authority, and SEN’EAU, the country’s water supply service company. The project owner highly recognized the project’s overall performance, construction quality and team services, noting that the project fully demonstrated the strong execution capabilities of the Chinese construction team.
Once operational, the project will provide an adequate and reliable supply of clean water to several thousand residents of Sanakh Village as well as the nearby University of Saint-Louis, significantly improving local living conditions and effectively enhancing the local water supply infrastructure network.
