CREC President ZHANG Zongyan and Vice President REN Hongpeng met with Hungarian Prime Minister Orban on the occasion of his presentation at the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation on April 26^th, 2019. They had an in-depth communication and reached broad consensus on strengthening China-Hungary cooperation in infrastructure construction and modes to maintain and increase state-owned assets’ value.

ZHANG introduced the Company and its overseas business. He pointed out that Hungary, as China’s significant partner in Europe and also the active participant for BRI, is an appealing market for CREC. He said, CREC is willing to share its experience in enterprise reforming and capital appreciation with Hungarian government and enterprises and promote cultural understanding and integration between the two nations.

PM Orban welcomes CREC to participate in the infrastructure construction in Hungary and the EU market, hoping enterprises from both countries to cooperate closely, learn from each other and enhance the mutual understanding and cultural exchanges to ensure the success of those cooperation projects. He said, the Hungarian government will learn from Chinese state-owned enterprises’ management experience and provide comprehensive support to CREC in the development and construction of infrastructure projects within Hungary and the neighboring countries, based on the related rules of the EU.
